Dr Jagdish Gandhi awarded at global PIEoneer Awards 2021, UK

Lucknow, January 13 : In a matter of pride for the city, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Founder-Manager of City Montessori School, Lucknow has been awarded at the Global PIEoneer Awards, UK. Out of the six  finalists from all over the world, only two outstanding individuals, Dr Vivienne Stern from UK and Dr Jagdish Gandhi from India were finally selected for the coveted award. Dr Gandhi has been conferred this award for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to the (Education) Industry’. At a glittering ceremony held in London UK, the Jury highlighted Dr Jagdish Gandhi's lifelong commitment to reimagining education as a vehicle for world unity and peace.

            CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that Dr Gandhi’s award affirms his standing as a proven global leader in the field of international education. The PIEoneer Awards, since their inception in 2017, have celebrated true innovation and achievement in the field of global education.

            Shri Sharma said that because Dr Jagdish Gandhi could not travel to UK to receive the award due to COVID restrictions, the organizing committee sent the award to Lucknow, which he received with gratitude.

            Expressing gratitude for the award, Dr Gandhi said, “In this increasingly interconnected world, the implementation of global citizenship education and global competency programmes in schools has become indispensable, if we are to find enduring solutions to problems such as climate change, armed conflicts and extreme inequality. I dedicate this award to all our Principals and teachers who have made this accolade possible”.

CMS students win 12 medals including 4 Gold in Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha

Lucknow, February 18: Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought pride to the institution by securing 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals in the prestigious Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj, Haridwar.
