Develop a global vision in children from the beginning — Dr Jagdish Gandhi, renowned educationist and Founder, CMS


 

Lucknow, March 5: City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II organized Divine Education Conferences today in a grand way at its school's auditorium. On this occasion, students of pre-primary and classes 1 and 2 presented devotional songs and dance items mesmerizing the audience, on the other hand, they  attracted the attention of their parents by expressing their thoughts on moral values, global thinking, service to humanity and excellence in all things. The students who performed brilliantly in various competitive examinations as well as in annual examinations were honoured and awarded prizes.

            Addressing the huge gathering of parents on this occasion, CMS Founder, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said that our rich cultural heritage believes in Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam and we must imbue the seeds of this concept in the young minds of our children to give them a global outlook. We must teach them the virtues of compassion, kindness, brotherhood, tolerance, love, unity and peace in children so that they work for the betterment of society when grown up. Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Ms Manjit Batra said that  CMS has taken upon its shoulders the responsibility to prepare students as 'Total Quality Persons' but it is only feasible with the continues cooperation of parents. Principal, Ms  Sangeeta Banerjee thanked the parents for their presence at the function and for inspiring the students.

            Chief Public Ralations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that CMS Mahanagar Campus also organized its Divine Education Conference today wherein meritorious students of schools were honoured and awarded prizes. On this occasion, students thrilled the audience with an array of devotional and cultural items. Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, Dr Kalpana Tripathi said that spiritual, moral and good environment of our school develops good character in the students who will bring about a change in the society. She appealed to the parents and grandparents to come forward and inculcate moral values and sound character building qualities in students.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. This inspirational tableau based on the theme ‘Ishwar, Allah, Wahe Guru, Chahe kaho Sri Ram, Malik sabka ek hai, alag-alag hain naam’ will propagate the message to the public to imbibe the spirit of ‘respect for all religions’ and ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ and make an appeal for a world order which is full of love, compassion and cooperation. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence. The students utilized the occasion to put several questions to the mayor, who also participated in the live programme. The students asked the mayor about the challenges facing the environment, and how to bring Lucknow to the first position in the Swachhta Mission.
