Meritorious students felicitated in CMS

Lucknow, March 22 : City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus felicitated its meritorious students with awards at the ‘Divine Education Conference’ organized in the campus premises. The students looked overjoyed and excited as they were honored with citations and medals before an audience of their parents and teachers. The students from Montessori to Class 9 who won prizes in various national and international competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the annual examinations throughout the year were felicitated in the function. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi awarded prizes to the meritirous students and wished them a very bright future.

             CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon inaugurated the function ceremoniously by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering present there, Prof. Kingdon said that education must be a catalyst in both individual and social development of a person. Meaningful education encourages the child to develop creatively in both personal and social spheres. She further said that to bring positive and long lasting growth in the society, the education needs to be associated with social progress. The aim of education is to expose the latent talents of children and enable them to contribute for the progress of others.

            On this occasion, students of CMS Asharfabad Campus presented several educational and cultural items, leaving everyone awe-struck. Through the presentation of World Parliament, they demonstrated their self-confidence in a smooth flow. They spread the messages of world peace and unity through World Unity and All Religion Prayer. At the function, the paternal and maternal grandparents of the students were especially invited and they profusely praised students and also appreciated the efforts of CMS for doing all round development of children. The event became successful in associating parents with the school activities.

             Principal of CMS Asharfabad Campus, Mrs Trapti Dwivide said that it is the moral responsibility of the school to develop children as good citizens and this is only possible with the help of parents. I am extremely delighted that our parents are very supportive. She also praised the teachers heartily saying that they are very laborious and have the hearts to serve.

CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public.
