City boy makes it to Ivy League University with US$ 268,000 scholarship

Lucknow, April 6 : In a matter of pride for the city, Aamish Ahmad Beg, a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I has been offered admission by Dartmouth College, the USA, an Ivy League college with a scholarship of US$ 168,000. “Waking up to find out that I’d been accepted to an Ivy League college was an incredibly gratifying experience. The fact that it’s paid off is a testament to the continuous support of my teachers, mentors and family”, said Amish. Amish will appear for his ISC (Class 12) board examinations later this month. Exuding pride, Mrs Abha Anant, Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I said, “Amish is an extremely talented student of our campus. A few years back, he went to IIT Guwahati with his school team to participate in an International Tech Fest and topped among the most brilliant young minds from all over the world.”

            CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Amish for his outstanding achievement and expressed gratitude towards the Principal and teachers of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I.CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of UP and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships.

Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence.
