Dr Bharti Gandhi felicitated in the conference for chairpersons of State Commission for Women held in Pune


 

Lucknow, April 22 : Founder-Director of City Montessori School and eminent educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi, was felicitated today for her unparalleled contribution in the field of girl education and women empowerment at a conference of chairpersons of State Commission for Women organized under the aegis of National Commission for Women at the MIT World Peace University, Pune. Additional DGFT of the Department of Commerce, Government of Maharashtra, Mrs. Meeta Rajeev Lochan, IAS felicitated Dr. Bharti Gandhi by presenting her with a citation and a stole. Dr. Gandhi addressed the audience as a keynote speaker in the 'Leadership Development Program for Chairpersons of State Commission for Women' organized under the aegis of National Commission for Women. Dr Gandhi said that women’s security and empowerment is the basis for social development. Women are the link on which the whole society rests. Laying special emphasis on the education of the girl child, she said that only educated girls can fulfill their responsibilities in various fields in future and provide a strong leadership to the society.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence. The students utilized the occasion to put several questions to the mayor, who also participated in the live programme.
