Lucknow, April 24 : A grand CMS alumni meet was organized under the aegis of International Relations Department of City Montessori School at Hotel Hyatt Regency today. A large number of ex-students of the institution participated in the grand meet and expressed their views and experiences recalling their school days. On this occasion, all the alumni of the school said in one voice that CMS has a great contribution in making us that what we are today. Excellent education and personality development efforts of CMS have brought us to these levels. Former students of CMS who are presently serving the country as IAS, IFS, IPS and IRS officers registered their presence on the occasion.

            Expressing his views on the occasion, former CMS student and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India, Shri Prakash Gupta, IFS said that the spirit of Jai Jagat taught to me during my school days in CMS had immense contribution in moulding my career. Shri Pranjal Yadav, IAS, Special Secretary, National Irrigation Department, Uttar Pradesh said that since the very early days of school, CMS had laid the foundation of my future life. Lt. Col. Prashant Kumar Singh, IRSME, Deputy Director General, UIDAI;, said that high thinking taught during my school days in CMS and the institution’s personality development efforts have led me to this level in my career. Shri Hasan Ahmad, IRS, Under Secretary, Finance ministry, Government of India said that CMS believes in overall development of every child and this is what differentiates CMS from other schools. Similarly, Shri Abhishek Pathak, IPS, Dy Inspector General (SSB), Shri Suboor H. Usmani, IRS, Income tax commissioner, Central Range – 1, Mumbai and other eminent officers also expressed their views.

            Speaking on the occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that all the former and present CMS students are our pride. It is only because of hard work of these students, teachers and parents that CMS is known at the international level today. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi; President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and Head of CMS International Relations Department, Dr Shishir Srivastava also expressed their views on this occasion.

10 CMS students selected for National Institute of Fashion Technology

Lucknow, March 26 : Ten bright students of City Montessori School have been offered admission to the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024) thus bringing laurels to their school. The selected students are Saumya Choudhary, Sakshi Saxena, Roshani Moolchandani, Mansi Verma, Mansi Saxena, Kashish Agarwal, Diti Arora, Avishi Yadav, Areeba Ansari and Akriti Singh. The examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for which the results were recently declared. The CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed her happiness on the selection of these deserving candidates and wished them a successful career innings. Multi-sided talents spill out at CMS Summer Camps

Lucknow, May 16 : Students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus shone with pride and happiness as their rainbow coloured talents spilled out at Summer Camps organized by the school. Games, sports, yoga and aerobics, art, painting, music, dance, painting, craft work, swimming, skating, public speaking, basketball, singing and taekwondo were practiced with great skill under experts and renowned exponents of the game. The Summer Campus brought out the talents of children who loved to participate in the different activities organized here. that there was great enthusiasm and eagerness amongst the students to attend these camps which provided a lot of learning, fun and laughter in the summer holidays.
