Student team of CMS Aliganj conferred the ‘Earthian Paryavaran Mitra Award’


 

Lucknow, April 15 : A team of five meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I have bagged the state level ‘Earthian Paryavaran Mitra Award’ for their efforts towards environment conservation. Aliza Siddiqui, Devanshi Verma, Ishita Yashi Pandey, Arya Dwivedi and Bhanu Prakash Verma of CMS Aliganj Campus I spread awareness among the general public to ‘Recycle, Reuse and Reduce Pollution’ in a unique way with their research and presentation under the guidance of their teachers on the topic, ‘Sustainability and Waste’. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated the Principal, teachers and students of CMS Aliganj Campus I for this outstanding achievement. CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that the Earthian Paryavaran Mitra Award has been jointly instituted by the Wipro Foundation and the Centre for Environment Education, Ministry of Environment and Forests and is awarded to students and youth for spreading awareness about environment conservation.

               Shri Sharma further said that CMS believes that the earth has limited natural resources, therefore they must be used judiciously. With this in view, CMS students actively participate in environmental protection competitions and social awareness campaigns. It is for this reason that CMS students have not only set the highest academic standards but have also set a unique example of social awareness.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence. The students utilized the occasion to put several questions to the mayor, who also participated in the live programme.
