CMS student selected in National Astronomy Olympiad


 

Lucknow, June 14 : Devansh Bansal, a student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, has made the city proud by getting selected in the Astronomy Olympiad being organized at the national level under the aegis of Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education, Mumbai. This information has come from Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that more than one lakh students from various reputed schools across the country participated in this prestigious competition, in which this  CMS student exhibited his outstanding knowledge of science, bringing laurels to the school. CMS Founder Dr. Jagdish Gandhi congratulated this brilliant student and wished him a bright future. Mr Sharma informed that after he qualifies in the final stage of the competition, he will get an opportunity to represent the country in the International Astronomy Olympiad.

            Mr Sharma said that realizing the importance of scientific age, CMS is striving vigorously to develop a scientific temper and global outlook in its students. With the aim of enhancing the talents of its students, various international competitions are organised by the school throughout the year, through which, the school provides an opportunity to the students to showcase their talents on the international stage, as well as instills confidence in them. This is the reason why CMS students are increasing the pride of Lucknow by earning success in various national and international competitions.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. This competition was organized under the aegis of Rotary Elite Club, Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
