23 June : Atharva Chandra, a class V student of City Montessori School, Chowk
Campus brought fame to the city by winning Gold Medal in 11th National Vovinam
Championship-2022 held at CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, Punjab. He
represented Uttar Pradesh in the Sub Junior category in Thap Tha Quyen. The
championship was organized under the aegis of Vovinam Association of India. CMS
Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that the
selected participants showcased their exemplary skills in this Championship,
wherein, amidst a tough competition, Atharva displayed tremendous stamina and
skills and earned a Gold Medal. Shri Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is
not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at
national and international levels in sports, music, dance and various other
fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting a holistic education to its
students, which contributes in their all-round development.
