Lucknow girl wins Gold in Belgium

Lucknow, June 9 : Anushree Jalan, a Class-9 student of the International Cambridge Section of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension Campus, represented India in the International Shooting Championship held in Belgium and earned accolades for Lucknow on the international stage by winning three gold medals and one bronze medal. Anushree has achieved this feat by performing brilliantly in the Air Pistol (Junior Category) competition at the International Intazro Reflex Shooting Cup held in Belgium. CMS Founder Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and CMS President Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed happiness on the historic achievement of the talented student of the school and wished her a bright future. Mr Sharma informed that at this international sporting event, this talented CMS student indulged in a tough competition with promising shooters from all over the world. In addition to the technical knowledge of rifle shooting, she demonstrated great aiming capability, breath control, movement control, and trigger control abilities. Mr Sharma informed that Anushree started her journey in shooting in 2020 and with just 2 years of experience, she has made a mark in the world of shooting.

            Mr Sharma said that CMS Students excel not only in the academic field but also in sports and many other co-curricular fields and they are bringing laurels to the school on the national and international fronts due to the training they receive in school. Along with the intellectual development of its students, CMS is engaged in preparing its students for sports and other social fields.

Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence.
