Lucknow, 27 July : Girl
students of City Montessori School sent 15,000 Rakhis for soldiers of the
Indian army guarding our nation's borders on Rakshabandhan. A group of 15 girl
students, led by CMS Founder, Dr Jagish Gandhi and Principal of CMS Station
Road Campus, Mrs Deepali Gautam, presented around 15,000 rakhis to Brigadier
T.V. Pradeep Kumar, Officiating General Officer Commanding, Central Command
Unit (Sub Area) and requested him to send the same to Indian soldiers deployed
on the borders. They also tied rakhis on the wrists of soldiers of the Central
Command and Brigadier T.V. Pradeep on this occasion. This information was given
by the Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma.
Mr
Sharma said that these girl students, in
an informal talk, said that they are
proud to send these rakhis to the soldiers who serve the nation and pray
for their long life.These are the men of courage who guard the frontiers of our
motherland in all weathers. Because of
them, peace prevails in our country and we are able to work collectively in the
development of our nation.
