Students get necessary guidance to reach their goals in Careers Day

Lucknow, July 26 : City Montessori School organized a one-day 'Careers Day' at CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium. On this occasion, thousands of students of classes 9 to 12 received necessary guidance from career experts on how to select the course to pursue as per their interest, and plan well to achieve their goal. Earlier, Dr Vikram Singh, IPS, Ex-DGP, Chancellor, Noida International University inaugurated the Careers Day by lighting the lamp. Addressing the students on the occasion, Chief Guest, Dr Vikram Singh motivated the students to make efforts with full dedication to achieve their goals, while explaining them principles of success. He advised the students that staying away from distractions like social media was necessary to concentrate on their goals.

        Welcoming the Chief Guest, other eminent guests, specialists, parents and students, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the right choice of career is the cornerstone of future life. The purpose behind organizing this careers day is to guide the students towards their right career direction from now on so that they can take the right path in their future life. In her address, CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that this event is a golden opportunity for students to overcome the dilemma related to career selection. Prof Kingdon emphasized on the spiritual development of students and encouraged them for skill development & adaptability and to remain aware of latest developments in the education field. Head of CMS Career Counselling Department, Mrs Chanda Kundra said that the objective of this event is to ensure that students do not face any difficulty in making their career choices, they should know what their goal should be and be mentally prepared to achieve that goal.

        At this Careers Day, academicians, counsellors and opinion leaders guided the students with their meaningful speeches. Eminent dignitaries who guided the students include Dr Vikram Singh, Chancellor, Noida International University; Dr. Dheeraj Sanghi, Vice Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University, Mr Hasan Ahmad, IRS, Under Secretary, Minister of Finance, Govt. of India; Mr Viveck Vaswani, Film Actor, Producer & Writer; Prof. Gaurav Agarwal, Chief Medical Superintendent, SGPGI; Prof. Shally Awasthi, Head of Department, King George's Medical University; Mr Abhishek Srivastava, Regional HR Head,Tata Consultancy Services; Mr Kaushal Pratap Singh, Asst. 10 CMS students selected for National Institute of Fashion Technology

Lucknow, March 26 : Ten bright students of City Montessori School have been offered admission to the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024) thus bringing laurels to their school. The selected students are Saumya Choudhary, Sakshi Saxena, Roshani Moolchandani, Mansi Verma, Mansi Saxena, Kashish Agarwal, Diti Arora, Avishi Yadav, Areeba Ansari and Akriti Singh. The examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for which the results were recently declared. Multi-sided talents spill out at CMS Summer Camps

Lucknow, May 16 : Students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus shone with pride and happiness as their rainbow coloured talents spilled out at Summer Camps organized by the school. Games, sports, yoga and aerobics, art, painting, music, dance, painting, craft work, swimming, skating, public speaking, basketball, singing and taekwondo were practiced with great skill under experts and renowned exponents of the game.
