Lucknow, August 31 : Asmah Fatima, a
talented Class V student of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus won the first
prize in Inter-school Painting Competition on groundwater conservation,
bringing laurels for the institution. This competition was organized under the
aegis of Regional Science Centre, Lucknow. Chief Public Relations Officer of
CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that the students from several noted schools
participated and showcased their talents. Asmah took this opportunity to
sensitize the masses for not only judicious use of natural resources but also
on how water pollution can be controlled, displaying her outstanding artistic
creativity and innovative thinking. She was awarded a certificate and mem ento
for her her outstanding performance. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi blessed
this student and wished her a very bright future ahead.
Mr Sharma said that CMS promotes its
students for such creative contests with the intention to create awareness
among its students on social and environmental concerns. This is one of the
reasons CMS students perform well in national and international contests as
well.
