Students from 23 countries showcase their skills in International Young Mathematics Convention

Lucknow, October 14 : Young mathematicians from 23 countries displayed their tremendous knowledge and talent in the science of numbers in International Young Mathematicians Convention (IYMC 2022) being organized online by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I. Students from 23 countries of the world, viz. Taiwan, UAE, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Indonesia, Bulgaria, China, Russia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, South Africa, Romania, Botswana, the USA, Vietnam, Thailand, Nigeria, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Tunisia and India are engaged in a variety of competitions involving application of Mathematical skills in IYMC-2022.

            On the fifth day of the six-day 'IYMC-2022' today, an interesting competition of mathematics, 'Mathematical Quintuple' was organized, in which participants of different countries gave a detailed presentation on various dimensions of mathematics in the senior category, underlining the importance of the subject on various aspects of human development. The participating students displayed their knowledge, expressive ability, creative thinking, logical and analytical talent while speaking on the role of Mathematics in the given five specific areas. This competition was completed in two rounds. The best performing students in the preliminary round competed in the final round.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that this International Young Mathematicians’ convention will conclude tomorrow.  The Prize distribution and closing ceremony of IYMC 2022 will be held tomorrow, on Saturday, 15 October, 2022 at 11.30 am wherein the winning teams will be awarded. On this occasion, CMS students will also present an array of scintillating educational-cultural programs in honour of the participants.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
