International Computer Olympiad COFAS-2022 concludes with a grand closing ceremony


 

Lucknow, 29 November : The four-day International Computer Olympiad 'Cofas-2022' organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I concluded today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Participating students and prize-winners in various competitions from Nepal, Thailand and various states of India were honoured with shields, medals and certificates at the 'Closing-cum-Prize Distribution Ceremony' organized amidst the colourful educational-cultural programmes. The Overall Championship was bagged by Sunbeam English School, Bhagwanpur, Varanasi while the runner-up trophy went to BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana.

            The Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony of 'COFAS-2022' saw a wide array of educational-cultural items in honour of the participants and their team leaders. The huge auditorium at CMS Kanpur Road resounded with loud clappings and cheering after each item. On this occasion, the participating students expressed their thoughts saying that they would always cherish the time spent here and the hospitality of the host, the CMS.

            Convener of Cofas-2022 and Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, “Mrs Jayashree Krishnan expressed confidence that this computer olympiad has been successful in developing a scientific and technological approach in students. She invited the participating teams to come here for the next Cofas with the same vigour and enthusiasm. Renowned educationist and Founder of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi also blessed the participants from India and abroad and motivated them to use the knowledge for the benefit of the human race. Dr Gandhi said that the time has now come for the students of the world to unite and begin a movement for World Unity, Peace and Justice.

Lucknow, 10 February : Tiny tots of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus spread the colours of unity in diversity at the Sports Day of their Campus held here today at the Northern Railway Stadium in Charbagh, Lucknow.
