Minister of State, Shri Dayashankar Singh inaugurates COFAS-2022

Lucknow, 26 November : The four-day International Computer Olympiad 'COFAS-2022' organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I was magnificently inaugurated today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest on this occasion, Shri Dayashankar Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Transport, UP, ceremoniously inaugurated this mega event by lighting the lamp of learning. Participating teams of COFAS-2022 from various countries introduced themselves in style amidst effervescent educational-cultural items presented by CMS students. 'COFAS-2022' is being organized from 26 to 29 November at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium.Addressing the gathering of young scientists from India and abroad at the inaugural function, the Chief Guest, Shri Dayashankar Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Transport, UP, said that computer and science should be adopted by all the fields of knowledge, then only will we be able to keep pace with the world. He inspired young scientists to use their knowledge for the benefit of the human race and said that young scientists should grab the opportunity of upgrading their knowledge in such events. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the computer olympiad is designed to set a milestone to achieve world unity and world peace for the students of India and abroad. He said that these excellent participants will not only showcase their academic skills, but they will also exchange their culture, tradition, lifestyle, and education.On this occasion, the Convenor of 'COFAS-2022' and Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Jayashree Krishnan expresses the belief that this four-day International Olympiad will not only have computer-related competitions but will also nurture friendship and feelings of brotherhood.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. This competition was organized under the aegis of Rotary Elite Club, Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. He added that students of various reputed schools participated in this prestigious quiz competition in which the CMS team emerged winner demonstrating its awareness towards the environment. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
