Parents should be committed for moral and character upliftment of their children — Dr Jagdish Gandhi, renowned educationist and Founder, CMS


 

Lucknow, November 23 : The Annual Parents and Grandparents Day' of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus was organized at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium with great joy and fervour. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, “Dr Jagdish Gandhi lit the lamp of learning to formally inaugurate the function. Addressing the august gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi appealed to the parents to put their best foot forward to nurture their children in such a way that humanity can be proud of. He added that home is the first school of children therefore thoughts of unity must be instilled in children since early age. Dr Gandhi emphasized that CMS is committed to provide meaningful education to its students.Earlier, the students of CMS Chowk Campus displayed outstanding educational-cultural programmes that drew great applause from mesmerized parents after seeing their children's artistic talents. The programme began with 'All Religion Prayer' that filled the hearts of audience with divine love and glory. In World Unity Prayer, children, holding National Flags of various countries in their hands, proclaimed 'May Peace Prevail on Earth' very effectively. They presented choir, qawwali, action song, yoga, aerobics, skit etc and left the audience awe-struck. Children also presented World Parliament which deliberated on means to establish an International Court.Mrs Aditi Sharma, Principal of CMS Chowk Campus appreciated the talents of children saying that CMS is endeavouring through education to prepare children to abide by the teachings of God and imbibe the fact in their hearts and mind that service to humanity is the true service of God.

Lucknow, February 18: Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought pride to the institution by securing 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals in the prestigious Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj, Haridwar.
