Parents thrilled watching the blooming talents of their children


 

Lucknow, November 13: City Montessori School, Golf City Campus organized 'Annual Parents’ and Grandparents’ Day' celebrations today in a grand fashion at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. The function was a great success and parents were thrilled to watch the blooming and blossoming talents of their children on stage as they sang and danced. The colourful cultural items were greeted with loud clapping and applause by the eager parents and grandparents. Earlier, the Chief Guest, Dr Roger David Kingdon, Educationist, UK, inaugurated the function ceremoniously by lighting the lamp of learning.Addressing the august gathering on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Dr Roger David Kingdon said that we must start giving education to children from our homes in a loving and divine atmosphere because it would help in children attaining alround development at a faster pace. Moreover, family unity will be helpful in establishing unity and peace in society. He urged the parents to provide moral and spiritual atmosphere to children. Profusely praising the function, he said that these educational-cultural events are very helpful in holistic development of students.The programme began with the school prayer followed by a wonderful presentation of 'All Religion Prayer' by the mothers of classes 1 and 2 students, that filled the hearts of audience with divine love and glory. Speaking on this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi encouraged the parents to be committed for character building and moralistic and divine upliftment of younger generation. CMS President Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also appreciated the multi-sided talents of students. Principal of CMS Golf City Campus, Mrs Reema Sethi said that the aim of CMS to make each child good and smart can only be attained with parents' cooperation. She appreciated the parents' support in various school activities and expressed heartfelt thanks to one and all.
