The younger generation will definitely be provided a clean environment, peaceful world order and secured future — Opinion of Chief Justices


 

Lucknow, 20 November : On the third day of the '23rd Inernational Conference of Chief Justices of the World' organised by City Montessori School at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, over 250 Chief Justices, Judges and leading educationists of various countries opined in one voice that the conference has been convened for the welfare and a safe and secured future of the world's chidren. We firmly believe that the combined efforts of all will create an atmosphere of unity, peace and harmony and the future generation will definitely get a clean environment, a New World Order and a secured future. The third day of the conferece was full of meaningful discussions and deliberations among the Chief Justices, Judges, legal luminaries and other distinguished guests wherein eminent guests of 57 countries strongly voiced their support to form a New World Order based on human rights, world unity and world peace. Addressing the gathering on this occason, Hon'ble Justice Dr Antoine Kesia-Mbe Mindua, Second Vice-President, International Criminal Court, Netherlands said that education prepares children for the future and equips them with the means to face various challenges and deal with situations. In the event of war, provisions available in the United Nations for the protection of children are often violated.

            Mr Divino Roberto Verissimo, President, OPA, Brazil said that we require unconditional love. We need to move forward as world humanity has already suffered a lot. Hon'ble Mr Jean-Henry Ceant, Ex-Prime Minister, Haiti, said that we must understand and accept that saving the world is not enough. The protection of our children, the preservation of environment, social justice, equality, and solidarity are the issues that must lead the way. Similarly, Hon'ble Mr Justice Abdikadir Idiris Essa, Judge, Supreme Court, Somalia; Hon'ble Justice Dr Joel Leonardo, President, Supreme Court, Angola; Hon'ble Ms Justice Sonia Angela Bertram Linton, Judge, Supreme Court, Jamaica and many more also presented their valuable thoughts.A special session on the theme 'Global Citizenship Education - Role in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals' was also conducted wherein eminent educationists, justices and judges put forth their views.  Prof. Ivan Sergeevich Romanchuk, Rector, University of Tyumen, Russia was the Chief Guest, whereas the session was convened by CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and moderated by Dr Shishir Srivastava, Head, CMS International Relations Department. Students suggest effective solutions to burning global problems

CMS Station Road Campus organizes Sports Day Sporting talents of little ones enthrall their parents

Lucknow, 10 February : Tiny tots of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus spread the colours of unity in diversity at the Sports Day of their Campus held here today at the Northern Railway Stadium in Charbagh, Lucknow.
