Delhi Public School, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand wins Overall Championship

Lucknow, December 14 : The four-day International Sports, Arts and Music Competition (SAM 2022), organized by City Montessori School, Jopling Road Campus, came to a magnificent closing today. At a glittering 'Closing cum Prize Distribution'ceremony held at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, the winners of all the competitions from India and abroad were felicitated with shields, medals, and certificates. Various breathtaking educational-cultural items were presented during the ceremony. The team of Delhi Public School, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand grabbed the Overall Championship, whereas the runners-up trophy went to Shri Ram Centennial School, Agra, Uttar Pradesh.The prize distribution ceremony of SAM-2022 has been full of curiosity, eagerness, and vivacity. CMS students presented a series of wonderful educational-cultural items in honour of participating teams and their team leaders. On this occasion, CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon profusely praised the talents of participating students and motivated them to work for the benefit of the entire human race as global citizens. She said that the time has come for the student community to join hands and work for the establishment of world unity and world peace. Convener of SAM-2022 and the Principal of CMS Jopling Road Campus, Mrs ShipraUpadhyay spoke on this occasion that the event has been successful in providing an international platform to the students to exhibit and unravel their latent talents. She expressed her gratitude toward the team leaders for their cooperation.

            Ahead of it, the fourth and final day of SAM-2022 witnessed a very interesting SAM Mellifluous Martials (Martial Arts) competition, definitely a novel experience for the students. At this contest, the participants from India and abroadskillfully performed the steps of Martial Arts displaying their sporting talent, agility, skill and stamina, disseminating the message 'India fit and young.' It is worth mentioning here that more than 45 teams from India and abroad participated in the four-day SAM 2022 and explored and showcased their talents in various interesting contests like SAM Quizzers (quiz), SAM Cuisine Connoisseurs (fireless cooking), SAM Graffiters (painting), SAM Conclave, SAM Melody Maestro (fashion show), SAM Floor Fusionists (rangoli), SAM Sculptors (3D model making), SAM Mellifluous Martials (Martial Arts), etc.

CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity.   Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public.
