Student teams arrived from 9 countries to participate in International Childrens Camp accorded warm welcome in Lucknow


 

Lucknow, December 28 :   Children's delegation from Brazil, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mongolia, Mexico, Sweden and India arrived here at Lucknow today to attend the 28th International Children's Camp hosted by City Montessori School were accorded a warm welcome upon arrival. Under the leadership of CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, CMS teachers and workers welcomed them and the young kids were all smiles on their welcome. This information was given by the Chief Public Relation Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. He added that 11 to 12 years old students of 9 countries are participating in this International Children's Camp held under the hospitality of CMS from 28 December 2022 to 19 January 2023 wherein the young students from various countries will learn the lessons of cordiality, unity, peace, brotherhood and friendship while living together for almost a month. Mr Sharma informed that International Children's Camps will be ceremoniously inaugurated on 30th December, Friday at 11.00 am at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Mr Surya Pal Gangwar, IAS, District Magistrate of Lucknow, will be the Chief Guest on this occasion.

            Mr Sharma stated that this International Children's camp is a model for the whole world where the children of various nations stay together and actualize the dream of a global family.  This International Children's Camp is organized with the aim to imbue the seeds of brotherhood, world peace and fraternity in the tender minds of young children. CMS provides the stay, food, sports facility, visit to historic places, medical facility etc. to the participating children, he informed.

            Mr Sharma informed that Children's International Summer Villages Camp (CISV), England organizes International Children's Camps every year in different countries and this is the 28th Camp being hosted by CMS.

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises.
