Youth of today is eager to create a New World Order— Shri Surya Pratap Shahi, Agriculture Minister, UP

Lucknow, December 11 : 4-day International Sports, Arts and Music Competition (SAM-2022) organized by City Montessori School, Jopling Road Campus got off to a glittering start with a grand inauguration today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest on this occasion, Shri Surya Pratap Shahi, Agriculture Minister, UP, inaugurated this mega event by lighting the lamp of learning amidst presentations of several scintillating educational-cultural items. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Shri Surya Pratap Shahi said that the world is passing through a phase of intellectual revolution today. The globalization, rapid change in the global conditions and the exchange of thoughts are a clear indication that today's youth is eager to give a new shape to the world and the time has now come for us to unite the new generation so that an ideal global society is constituted.            On this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that music, arts and sports, all are extremely beneficial for the child's all round growth and development. This four day programme will not only improve the skills inherent in children but will also boost their spirit and foster the feelings of World Unity and World Peace. CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said this celebration of talent would give the participants  new found confidence and a desire to achieve greatness in life.

            Earlier, the programme began with an All Religion Prayer and World Peace Prayer ceremony. CMS students presented wonderful series of educational-cultural items on this occasion highlighting the idea of unity in diversity and need for peace and harmony in the world. The presentation of mock 'World Parliament' also attracted one and all.The convener of 'SAM-2022' and Principal of CMS Jopling Road Campus, Mrs Shipra Upadhyay said that the competitons of SAM-2022 have been designed with a view to stimulate the creativity of the participants, inspiring them to create their masterpieces. It will unleash the talents of students, help in boosting their will power and confidence and empower them to accept the challenges of life with ease. This international contest will be fruitful for holistic development of younger generation, he opined. It may be mentioned here that SAM-2022 is bring organized from 11 to 14 December at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium in which student teams from Nepal, Sri Lanak, Ireland, Bahrain and various states of India are participating.

10 CMS students selected for National Institute of Fashion Technology

Lucknow, March 26 : Ten bright students of City Montessori School have been offered admission to the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024) thus bringing laurels to their school. The selected students are Saumya Choudhary, Sakshi Saxena, Roshani Moolchandani, Mansi Verma, Mansi Saxena, Kashish Agarwal, Diti Arora, Avishi Yadav, Areeba Ansari and Akriti Singh. The examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for which the results were recently declared. Multi-sided talents spill out at CMS Summer Camps

Lucknow, May 16 : Students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus shone with pride and happiness as their rainbow coloured talents spilled out at Summer Camps organized by the school. Games, sports, yoga and aerobics, art, painting, music, dance, painting, craft work, swimming, skating, public speaking, basketball, singing and taekwondo were practiced with great skill under experts and renowned exponents of the game.
