BCCI Vice President, Rajeev Shukla, inaugurates International School Cricket League at CMS

Lucknow, 28 January : The 6-day International School Cricket League (ISCL-2023), organized by City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus was inaugurated today at CMS Kanpur Road premises. Amidst scintillating cultural items and presence of participating young cricket players of South Africa, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Oman, Nepal and various states of India along with thousands of cricket lovers, the Chief Guest, Mr Rajeev Shukla, Vice President, BCCI, inaugurated the ISCL-2023 by lighting the lamp of sports spirit. It is worth mentioning here that 6th ISCL-2023 is being orgaized from 27 January to 1 February 2023. In this school level International Cricket Tournament, 16 teams from India and abroad are participating.

            Addressing the gathering at the inaugural ceremony of ISCL-2023, the Chief Guest, Mr Rajeev Shukla congratulated City Montessori School for organizing this international cricket tournament and said that it would surely be one of the most exciting tournaments for Lucknowites. CMS has provided a golden opportunity for young and aspiring cricketers to exhibit their sports abilities and qualify for high level competition. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the ISCL-2023 will boost up the feelings of world unity and world peace. The young players will not only compete with others but also the feelings of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam will develop in them.

            Convenor of ISCL-2023 and Principal of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, Dr Vineeta Kamran, welcomed the young players. She expressed hope that the young players will  not only explore their talents in this mega event, they will also disseminate the message of world peace and unity with their sportsmanship.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. This competition was organized under the aegis of Rotary Elite Club, Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. He added that students of various reputed schools participated in this prestigious quiz competition in which the CMS team emerged winner demonstrating its awareness towards the environment. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
