CMS Alumni Meet of Singapore and Thailand Chapter held online

Lucknow, February 25 : Under the aegis of City Montessori School, the International Alumni Meet, Singapore and Thailand Chapter was held today online wherein CMS alumni, now occupying prestigious positions in Singapore and Thailand, reminisced about their school days. On this occasion, CMS alumni said in one voice that CMS has made immense contribution in our growth and we are what we are today because of our school. The excellent education provided to us in school has led us to achieve these levels in our career. The Alumni Meet was chaired by the CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi. On this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the advice by CMS alumni is very important and helpful for the guidance of current students. It is also very beneficial for the CMS alumni living in Singapore and Thailand as they will be able to get in touch with each other. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi along with the Principals of various CMS campuses and senior members of the CMS administration also participated in the Alumni Meet.

        Expressing his views on the occasion, Mr Kartik Agrawal, Assistant Director, Sport Singapore (Ministry of Sports), said that CMS believes in the all-round development of every child and this is what differentiates it from other schools. Mr Rahul Singh, Author, Banker & Community Builder, said that it was because of the personality development efforts of students by the school and values inculcated in school days that I am at this level in my career. Mr Shivam Misra, Product Manager, Emerson, said that the spirit of Jai Jagat inculcated by the school has contributed a lot to my career. Ms Shahin Alam, Senior Officer, Indorama Polyester Industries, PCL, said that CMS laid the foundations of the future course of my life. Other CMS alumni included Mr Sujay Mishra, Analyst, Rainforest Life Pte Ltd, Mr Saksham Mehrotra, Sustainability Analyst, ENGIE Impact, Mr Purnendu Pandey, Director, AI Digital, Mr Manish Gupta, MD & CEO, Talenton Global Pte. Ltd., Mr Siddharth Goel, Staff Software Engineer, Doctor Anywhere, Mr Sukrit Singh Raghuvanshi, Senior Product Manager, Paypal, Mr Shiv Bhole Singh, Lead Software Engineer, Capgemini, Mr SachinVarshney, Senior Vice President, Development Bank of Singapore, Mr Amit Roy, Director, Bizvantage Pte Ltd and many others also reminisced about their school days on this occasion. At the end, Dr Shishir Srivastava, Head, International Relations Department of CMS expressed gratitude towards all the participants and former students of CMS.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. This inspirational tableau based on the theme ‘Ishwar, Allah, Wahe Guru, Chahe kaho Sri Ram, Malik sabka ek hai, alag-alag hain naam’ will propagate the message to the public to imbibe the spirit of ‘respect for all religions’ and ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ and make an appeal for a world order which is full of love, compassion and cooperation. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence. The students utilized the occasion to put several questions to the mayor, who also participated in the live programme. The students asked the mayor about the challenges facing the environment, and how to bring Lucknow to the first position in the Swachhta Mission.
