Develop a global vision in children from the beginning— Dr Jagdish Gandhi

Lucknow, February 28: City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II organized a Divine Education Conference today in a grand way at its school's auditorium. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. On this occasion, the meritorious students from Pre-Primary to Class II were awarded prizes for having topped in their classes in the Annual Examination along with those who had brought name and fame to the school by winning prizes in various competitive events, cultural activities and sports etc.

            Addressing the huge gathering of parents, CMS Founder, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said that our rich cultural heritage believes in Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam and we must imbue the seeds of this concept in the young minds of our children to give them a global outlook. We must teach them the virtues of compassion, kindness, brotherhood, tolerance, love, unity and peace in children so that they work for the betterment of society when they grow up. On this occasion, CMS Founder-Director Dr. Bharti Gandhi also blessed the meritorious students.

            On this occasion, the pre-primary and primary students of the school rendered a melodious presentation of the School Prayer, All-Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer followed by a series of educational-cultural items like qawwali, dada-dadi song, colours of India, elocution, folk dance, bhangra, melody in rhymes, nutcracker and many more. While on one hand, the wonderful presentation of devotional songs by the mothers of students won great applause, on the other hand, the presentation of mock 'World Parliament' by the tiny tots was also worth watching.

            Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Ms Manjit Batra said that  CMS has taken upon its shoulders the responsibility to prepare it's students as 'Total Quality Persons' but it is only feasible with  continuous cooperation of parents. Principal, Ms  Sangeeta Banerjee thanked the parents for their presence at the function and for inspiring the students.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. This competition was organized under the aegis of Rotary Elite Club, Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. He added that students of various reputed schools participated in this prestigious quiz competition in which the CMS team emerged winner demonstrating its awareness towards the environment. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
