Participating teams showcase amazing talents in competitions of Speech, Quiz, and Science Model

Lucknow, 5 February : The two-day long Inter-school Science Festival 'SCIFARI-2023' organized by City Montessori School, United World Campus, saw a kick and scintillating start at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium today. The Founder of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi lit the lamp of learning to inaugurate the function ceremoniously. In his address on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that such events are the need of the hour to promote students' imaginative and innovative prowess. This Science contest is an innovative event that will accuminate the talents of students. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi, and CMS President and MD Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon were also present to inspire and encourage students. The event began with the School Prayer, All Religion Prayer, and World Unity prayer. The tiny tots presented scintillating educational-cultural items in honour of the participating students and their team leaders.

            The participating students showcased their creative thinking, skills, and brilliance in the events held after the inaugural function, exhibiting their awareness of societal development. Competitions of Scifari began with Sci-Rhetoric (Elocution) followed by Sci-Zoid (Declamation) contest allowing the teams to explore their creative side. Students spoke with confidence about their favourite personalities or scientists. In the Sci-Nerdly Minds (Quiz) contest, students were very apt and quick in answering the questions. The quiz contest had two rounds. The top ten teams of the first round appeared in the second round. The audio-visual and buzzer rounds received profound clappings from the audience. Sci-Porium (Model Presentation) contest exposed the scientific temper, creativity, imagination, and deep understanding of participants. The students made eye-catching socially-useful models showing their humanistic perspective.

            Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, informed that the second and concluding day of the two-day Inter-school science festival Scifari-2023' will start tomorrow, 6 February, at 10.00 am with the contest of Sci-Chem Pad (Canvas Painting), Sci-Cad (Powerpoint presentation), Sci-Dressy Bee (Fashion) and Sci-Genix (Skit), etc.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. This competition was organized under the aegis of Rotary Elite Club, Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity.
