CMS Mahanagar Campus organizes 'Divine Education Conference'

Lucknow, March 20 : City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus organized 'Divine Education Conference' with great enthusiasm at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. The Conference was jointly inaugurated by renowned educationists-CMS Founder-Manager, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that if we want a profound and positive change in society, it has to be through the medium of education. It is here that the power of motherhood assumes prime importance. Mothers are the child's first teachers and they easily recognize the hidden talents of the children. Dr Gandhi called upon the mothers to teach the children virtues of equality of all religions, moral and spiritual behaviour so that children become ideal citizens.

            On this occasion, the students of school presented several educational-cultural items keeping the audience mesmerized. At the function, the grandparents of students were especially invited and they profusely appreciated the students and also applauded the CMS efforts towards the all round development of children. The programme began with All Religions and World Unity Prayer followed by mock World Parliament wherein students discussed burning issues of the present world with suggestions for their peaceful solutions. On this occasion, the students from Classes III to V, who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the annual examinations were awarded prizes.

            In her address, the Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, Dr Kalpana Tripathi thanked the parents for their constant support saying that children are gifts of God to mankind. It is our sincere endeavour she said, to make each child realize his or her maximum potential and become a light of the world.

Aarish Ahmad wins US$ 68,000 scholarship

Lucknow, March 23: Aarish Ahmad, a student of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I has won a whopping US$ 68,000 scholarship offered by the University of Technology, Australia for undergraduate studies.
