Lucknow, March 13 : The 12-member students' delegation of City
Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II returned to a warm welcome in their
home country, India after participating in the 'Sakura Science Exchange
Programme' held in Japan. On this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned
educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi received and congratulated the CMS students'
team for a very successful trip to Japan and for bringing honour to their motherland.
He wished them a bright future ahead. This information was given by the Chief
Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. He further informed that
the students representing CMS at the Science Exchange Programme were Shashank
Ranjan, Anurag Singh, Yash Nehra, Atharv Mohan, Shivendra Pratap Singh, Samarth
Raghuvanshi, Avi Mishra, Subha Shukla, Shivansh Maurya, Manas Saxena and Eshan
Srivastava. The CMS delegation was led by Ms Triguna Singh, teacher of CMS
Gomti Nagar Campus II. Mr
Sharma said that this Science Exchange Program was organized by Japanese
government institution 'Japan Science & Technology Agency (JST)' in which
students from almost 30 countries participated. The organizers bore the entire
cost of their Japan trip, including airfare, food, board and lodging as well as
sightseeing in Japan.
Mr Sharma said that the students
expressed their happiness on return from Japan in an informal interaction with
press reporters. They said that it was like a dream come true for them. During
their educational tour to Japan, they got an opportunity to meet the students
of various countries and exchange their ideas with them. It was a beneficial
experience for them which they will always cherish. The students stated that
this Science Program afforded them the opportunity to showcase their talent in
science and interact with renowned mathematicians and scientists in Japan.
