Meritorious students and toppers in Annual Examinations honoured

Lucknow, March 22 : City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I felicitated its meritorious students at the ‘Divine Education Conference’ organized at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The students were visibly overjoyed and excited as they were honoured with citations and medals before a large audience of parents and teachers. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi awarded and honoured the meritorious students  of Classes VI to IX and XI,who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the Annual Examinations. Ahead of this, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the character building qualities must be instilled at a young age in children when their minds are tender and they can easily imbibe these qualities. The main aim of our education is to give material, human and divine education to children and develop their total personality, he said.

            The programme began with an All Religion and World Peace Prayer spreading the message of World Unity and World Peace. Thereafter, students presented a variety of educational-cultural items including folk music, singing and dancing, choreography, qawwali etc. giving a picture of unity in diversity which thrilled the audience. Parents were all praise the wonderful presentations by the children. The students spread the message of World Unity and World Peace through their cultural presentations and drew attention towards establishing Enforceable International Law in their powerful presentation of mock 'World Parliament'. Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, Mrs Nisha Pandey said that CMS is a school with a difference that strengthens children with good values from inside and makes them smart from outside and thus, stronger to face the challenges of life.
