CMS Music teachers to participate in International Music Concert in Austria


 

Lucknow, 30 May : A five-member delegation of music teachers of City Montessori School will be visiting Austria’s capital city, Vienna on a 15-day trip to participate in an International Music Concert being held there. Their melodious music rendering in Vienna, the city of music and melody, is sure to set the stage on fire. The CMS delegation includes the following: Ms Jinous Yegan, teacher of western singing at CMS, Mr Oswin Moses, music teacher at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mr Utkarsh Srivastava, music teacher at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Ms Srishti Pandey and Mr Abhay Samuel Peter, music teachers at CMS Rajajipuram Campus. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that this International Music Concert is being organized in Vienna from 6 to 19 June 2023. At this Concert, CMS Music teachers will present musical tunes and songs composed by German musician, Mr Carl Orff and also spread the message of World Unity and World Peace through music. 

               Mr Sharma further stated that CMS believes in the inspirational power of music and the importance of imparting values through music and dance. Training in music must be made compulsory for all campuses as it leads to physical and mental development and enhances academic performance. It is for this reason that CMS has appointed well-trained and experienced music teachers in all the CMS Campuses. Mr Sharma expressed the view that this educational tour will instil new verve and zeal in the CMS Music teachers and lead them to produce world class musicians amongst their students in future.

Outstanding performance of Akriti Singh of CMS in NEET 2024

Lucknow, June 5: Students of City Montessori School have yet again recorded huge success in the NEET Exams 2024 with as many as 96 of them securing place above the cut off percentage on the national merit list and becoming eligible for admission to top Medical Colleges of India. Among these, Akriti Singh of CMS Kanpur Road Campus scored 701 marks out of a total of 720 marks and secured All India Rank 1597 bringing laurels to the school. 18 CMS students secured 99 percentile and above marks in the aforesaid exam creating history yet again. Out of these, 9 secured national ranks above 7300 and the remaining 9 secured rank under 20000. Lucknow, March 5 : City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, successfully organized the grand ‘Divine Education Conference’ today at the school auditorium. The Chief Guest, Shri Harsh Singh, IPS, inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
