Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puruskar for CMS student Vyom Ahuja

Lucknow, 11 May : CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I student of Class X, Vyom Ahuja has won the distinctive honour of being awarded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puruskar for his unparalleled achievements in the field of art and culture. At a special function organized at the District Magistrate’s Office, the District Magistrate, Shri Surya Pal Gangwar, IAS, honoured Vyom with a Citation of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puruskar 2021, a medal, a Computer PC tablet and a much prized watch signed by the Prime Minister himself. Vyom had been selected for this coveted award in 2021, but due to the deadly COVID wave, no honouring ceremony could be organized at that time.

               Expressing tremendous happiness at Vyom’s success, the CMS Founder Manager, Renowned Educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that Vyom whose very name signifies the all-encompassing sky, has brought glory to CMS and to the whole of Lucknow at national level and therefore, the school as well as the whole of Lucknow is proud and elated over his marvellous achievements and the honour bestowed upon him.Vyom’s achievements stated that he obtained the degree of Visharad in instrumental Music (flute) at the tender age of 13 from Bhatkhande Vishwa Vidyalaya. The young child prodigy has won several honours and awards in flute playing at state and national level. He holds a record in maximum drum beats in a minute. He has a mastery in playing the mouth organ, table, pipe xylophone, and several other musical instruments. He has also won many prizes for memory games and other sports. Till date, Vyom has created 37 records of which 30 are registered in the India Book of Records, three in the Asia Book of Records, two future Kalam Awards, and two in the Universal Book of Records. The World Records University has presented the Grandmaster Title in Chess Algorithm to this genius of the CMS Family.

CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises.   Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public.
