Lucknow, June 17 :
Prakhyati Gupta, a talented student of class XI, City Montessori School,
Rajajipuram Campus I won the first prize in an Inter-school Collage-Making
Competition on biodiversity bringing laurels to the institution. The
competition was organized by the
epartment of Zoology of Lucknow University in collaboration with Vitals
Zoological Society. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief
Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that several students from
noted schools of Lucknow participated in the contest. Prakhyati took this
opportunity to sensitize the masses on environment protection, wildlife
protection and judicious use of natural resources. The organizers recognized
and praised her efforts and multi-sided talent rewarding her with certificate
and gifts. CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi has wished her a very bright future
ahead.
Mr
Sharma said that CMS promotes its students for creative and innovative contests
with the intention to create awareness among its students on social and
environmental concerns. This is one of the reasons CMS students excel in
contests on national and international levels.
