CMS students win 18 gold and silver medals in Karate Tournament

Lucknow, 27 July : Students of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus brought laurels to the institution winning overall tally of 18 medals, comprising 11 Golds and 7 Silver Medals at a Zonal level Karate Tournament. The competition was organized under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished a bright future for the medal winning students. This information was given by Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma stated that in the Under-14 Boys category of tournament, Akshobhya Patel and Abhimanyu Chaturvedi won gold medals while Medhansh Singh, Siddhant Johari and Mohd Shaad bagged silver medals. Similarly, in Under-14 Girls' category, Manasvini Singh and Satakshi Sharma won Golds while Ritisha Chauhan, Yashvi and Adya Sharma secured silver medals. In Under-17 Boys, Atiksh Srivastava won the Gold while in Under-17 Girls, Yashasvi Singh, Vaishnavi Tiwari and Shagun Pandey bagged Gold medals while Shranya Tomar won Silver medal. In Under-19 Girls' category, Aradhya Singh, Mahima Singh and Divyanshi Bajpai grabbed the Gold medals. Mr Sharma further stated that the best players from noted schools of Lucknow zone participated in this tournament and amidst tough competition, CMS Kanpur Road Campus came on top displaying tremendous skill and stamina and bagging the maximum of 18 medals.

               Mr Sharma further informed that CMS students are creating new milestones in the field of games and sports besides academics at national and international level. The school trains its students in various games and sports through rigorous practice by expert coaches at all CMS campuses.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
