Lucknow, August 24: When Chandrayan-3 touched down on the surface of moon, Abdulla Suhail was jubilant and celebrating with his entire team, his father Suhail Ayyub Zinjani exclaimed. Abdulla, a scientist/engineer working with High resolution Data Processing Division was among the chosen few to select a landing spot for Chandrayaan-3. An alumnus of City Montessori School, Indiranagar and Mahanagar Campus, Abdulla has put the city on the world map with his outstanding contribution. Born to an engineer father and highly qualified mother, he is the second of their three siblings. His father Mr Suhail Ayyub Zinjinani says, ‘Abdulla wanted to become an engineer since his childhood. He achieved cent percent marks in Mathematics in his class XII board exams and went on to do B.Tech. in Computer Engineering. He further qualified PCS and then did his M.Tech/PhD from JNU. Thereafter he applied at ISRO where there were openings for engineers/scientists and got selected’. ‘All my three children have been educated at CMS. Once when he was in class 4, Abdulla came third in his class. To this, his mother remarked about how proud that child’s mother would be who had achieved first position. Abdulla innocently asked his mother if that is what she wanted. Since then, he was always among the top three in his class. He is still passionate about his teachers, Ms Ruchi Bhuwan Joshi and Mr Pawan’, continues his father.

Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Abdulla Suhail on his outstanding achievement and wished him more success in the service of the country. He further said that CMS students are excelling in their careers all over the world and we congratulate our teachers and Principals because of whose hard work and dedication, CMS produces such brilliant students who bring laurels to the country with their achievements.
