11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori
School, Gomti Nagar Campus II, brought
name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo
Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was
organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000
athletes from across the country participated. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi
expressed happiness on this wonderful achievement of Advik and wished him a
bright future ahead. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations
Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that Advik of CMS bagged
the double golds in Kyorugi and Poomsae competitions. Amidst tough competition,
Advik displayed tremendous stamina and skills and earned Golds proving his
ability to raise the name of Lucknow on national and international front.
Mr Sharma informed that excellence
at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their
mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance, and various
other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to
its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
