CMS student Anjali wins two gold medals in Skating Championship


 

Lucknow, 8 October : Anjali Sagar, a talented Class IX student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II brought kudos to the school by winning two Gold Medals in Regional Skating Championship held at Gorakhpur. Anjali has won these golds in 500m Rink Race and 3000m Road Race competitions. The championship was organized under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma further stated that top players of prestigious schools of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand had participated in this skating championship. Beating the tough competition, CMS skating champ Anjali showed tremendous skill, control over roller skates, mental balance and effortless skating ability winning the hearts of those present and skating away to glory. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished this talented CMS girl good luck for a bright future. 

            Mr Sharma further stated that CMS promotes sports and other extra-curricular activities besides imparting quality education to its students because academics and sports both are necessary for the holistic development of students. Therefore, CMS encourages its students to participate in various competitions which help them shine nationally and internationally.
