4th day of International Geography Olympiad 'Geofest International-2023'

Lucknow, 23 November : The 4th day of the ongoing five-day International Geography Olympiad 'Geofest International-2023' at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium was a day of geographic innovation and emerging talents of participants of India and abroad in art, music and cookery. While on one hand, they enthusiastically participated in group singing and fireless cooking, on the other hand, the oratory skills and creative ideas of the students won acclaim in the Debate, Floor Art and Model Making Competitions. The 4th day of Geofest International-2023 began with a Special Prayer for a peaceful earth and a harmonious environment followed by a meaningful interaction with CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi. On this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the Geofest International is the best platform for young geographers to pool in their talent and resources and enrich the study of geography by exchange of ideas. It reiterates our belief in ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ i.e. the whole earth is but one family.

            Interesting competitions unfolded on the fourth day of ‘Geofest International-2023.’ In the Geo Rhapsody competition organized in the morning session, the participating students from India and abroad left an indelible impression of their singing talent. The group singing of the participating students on the theme 'The Song of the Earth' was greatly appreciated by everyone. In the Geo Taste competition based on fireless cooking, the participating students realized the concept of 'Love Your Food - Waste Less, Save More'. In the afternoon session, the final round of the very interesting Geo Talk (debate) competition of junior and senior category was held in which the participating students while speaking for and against the motion highlighted the degrading condition of the earth's environment. In the Geo Floor Art Competition, the students showcased their artistic talent, on the other hand, in the Geo Model Making Competition, they proved their creativity by making many socially useful models.

CMS students win 12 medals including 4 Gold in Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha

Lucknow, February 18: Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought pride to the institution by securing 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals in the prestigious Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj, Haridwar.
