CMS students appeal for Cracker-free Diwali celebrations

Lucknow, November 9: Students of City Montessori School, RDSO Campus took out a huge rally and organized street play (Nukkad Natak) today to appeal to their fellow groups, friends and the entire country to celebrate 'Diwali' joyfully without bursting fire crackers, thus saving environment from pollution and illumine one's own soul. Raising slogans like 'Diwali Zaroor Manayenge, Pataake Nahin Chhudayenge', 'Vatavaran Ko Bachao, Pataake Mitao', 'Andhkaar Mitayenge, Deep Jalayenge, Diwali Manayenge, Pataake Nahin Jalayenge' etc. through banners, placards, posters and songs, students of CMS RDSO Campus took a round of nearby areas making an appeal to celebrate Diwali without bursting crackers in the interest of our country, society, environment and for their own health. Several senior citizens and social activists joined this huge rally of CMS students to celebrate pollution-free happy Deepawali.

Mrs Jyotsna Atul said that
CMS students know that Diwali is a festival of wealth and prosperity and also that it can be really enjoyed if celebrated without crackers. Thousands of children get injured every year due to crackers. Burning crackers in huge amounts releases poisonous gases that pollute the environment. She further said that Diwali is not only a festival, but also motivates us to enlighten ourselves from within.

CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity.   Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public.
