Darsh Agarwal of CMS initiates protection of wildlife as youngest conservationist

Lucknow, 12 January : Darsh Agarwal, a student of Grade V at City Montessori School, Cambridge Section, Gomti Nagar Campus II has taken up the unique initiative of wild life conservation and inspiring the younger generation to take up this noble cause. For one whole year, he has adopted a crocodile from the Lucknow Zoo and decided to bear all its expenses with his own pocket money. Ten year old Darsh Agarwal has become the youngest child to adopt any wild animal and thus created a new record. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this wonderful act of Darsh clearly outlines his compassionate nature, love for wild animals, and an earnest desire to do something constructive to bring about a positive change in the lives of animals and contribute to their well-being. Besides this, Darsh has also launched a campaign on the social media platform through you tube. Here he motivates people to adopt protected wild animals and give them food, love and security so that they enjoy a happy and healthy life.

               Mr Sharma further said that CMS promotes soil, water and land conservation and trains its students to take up wildlife conservation in a big way both individually and collectively. It leads to social and environmental awareness and brings us close to nature. He likes to participate in programmes related to preservation of flora and fauna and enriching the earth’s resources. CMS believes that wild life is an important part of the earth’s ecosystem and it is our duty as world citizens to protect them. It is due to the commitment and efforts of the institution that students are motivated to take up social awareness and wildlife conservation programmes besides creating new records in academics.

10 CMS students selected for National Institute of Fashion Technology

Lucknow, March 26 : Ten bright students of City Montessori School have been offered admission to the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024) thus bringing laurels to their school. The selected students are Saumya Choudhary, Sakshi Saxena, Roshani Moolchandani, Mansi Verma, Mansi Saxena, Kashish Agarwal, Diti Arora, Avishi Yadav, Areeba Ansari and Akriti Singh. The examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for which the results were recently declared. Multi-sided talents spill out at CMS Summer Camps

Lucknow, May 16 : Students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus shone with pride and happiness as their rainbow coloured talents spilled out at Summer Camps organized by the school. Games, sports, yoga and aerobics, art, painting, music, dance, painting, craft work, swimming, skating, public speaking, basketball, singing and taekwondo were practiced with great skill under experts and renowned exponents of the game.
