CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition


 

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music. Mr Sharma further said that such celebrations are extremely beneficial for students as they encourage young talent to come forward and make their mark at the national and international level and CMS is constantly encouraging its students to participate in competitions of music, dance and sports leading to their all-round personality development. CMS President and Manager Prof, Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated the Principal, Dr Vineeta Kamran and the entire team of CMS Kanpur Road Girls’ School Band for their outstanding performance at national level.

CMS students win 12 medals including 4 Gold in Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha

Lucknow, February 18: Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought pride to the institution by securing 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals in the prestigious Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj, Haridwar.
