Lucknow, February 6 : The 6-member
students' delegation of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II returned
to a warm welcome in their home country, India after participating in the
'Sakura Science Exchange Programme' held in Japan. CMS teachers and guardians
received the students' team at Amausi airport and congratulated them for a very
successful trip to Japan and for bringing honour to their motherland. This
information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om
Sharma. He further informed that the students representing CMS at the Science
Exchange Programme were Aryan Singh, Shreya, Shubh Mehrotra, Vaibhav Pandey and
Vaidehi Mishra. The CMS delegation was led by Mr Yogendra Pratap Singh, teacher
of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II. Mr Sharma said that this Science Exchange Program was organized
by Japanese government institution 'Japan Science & Technology Agency
(JST)' in which students from almost
30 countries participated. The organizers bore the entire cost of their Japan
trip, including airfare, food, board and lodging as well as sightseeing in
Japan. At the educational excursion, CMS students visited the best universities
and Research Institutes of Japan, attended lectures on the latest advancement
in science and technology and witnessed hands-on experiments by top scientists.
Mr
Sharma said that the students expressed their happiness on return from Japan in
an informal interaction. They said that it was like a dream come true for them.
During their educational tour to Japan, they got an opportunity to meet the
students of various countries and exchange their ideas with them. It was a
beneficial experience for them which they will always cherish. The students
stated that this Science Program afforded them the opportunity to showcase
their talent in science and interact with renowned mathematicians and
scientists in Japan.
