Lucknow, May 13 :
Arundhati Singh Dagar, an exceptionally talented pupil of Class X, City
Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I, won the doubles title in the Under-18
National Lawn Tennis Championship held in Prayagraj. Her tennis partner in the
final match was Harshita Singh of Bihar. The Championship was organized under
the joint aegis of Directorate of Sports, U.P. and U.P. Tennis Association. CMS
Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated and praised Arundhati and
wished her all the best for a bright future. Mr Sharma stated that students
from top public schools of India had participated in this competition.
Arundhati’s victory was largely due to her grit and determination to succeed.
It is these kinds of students who are ready to carve a new future for mankind
and make her position on the international front.
Mr
Sharma further said that CMS students are not only leading in academic pursuits
but are also making their presence felt in various co-curricular activities and
games and sports at national and international level. CMS tries to make its
students profound agents of profound social transformation.
