15-day International Youth Meeting hosted by CMS commences

Lucknow, June 25 : Young delegates from USA, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sweden and India arrived here at Lucknow to participate in an International Youth Meeting and were warmly received by the hosts City Montessori School. They brought with them tidings of peace and unity and through this Youth Meeting, hoping to reinforce their commitment towards the noble cause of World Unity and World Peace. The meeting is being held to spread awareness about UN Goal of  Sustainable Development from 24 June to 8 July. Children aged 12 to 13 years are participating in this youth meeting wherein each team has four children and an adult leader. This information has come from the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna stated that participants of eight countries are gathered here together and are discussing four important global issues faced by society like sustainable development and natural environment, human rights, racial and gender discrimination, revolts and highlighting the thoughts and aspirations of the youth in present day world society.  They are spreading the idea of a World Civilization and a New World Order and World Culture.

        Mr Khanna further stated that on their arrival at Lucknow, the delegates were warmly received and seemed overwhelmed with joy and happiness at the wonderful hospitality. They said that they had come here with the mission of World Unity and World Peace and wanted to create a world embracing approach and global understanding in the minds of students so that they develop cross-cultural friendships and relationships across national boundaries.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. This competition was organized under the aegis of Rotary Elite Club, Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. He added that students of various reputed schools participated in this prestigious quiz competition in which the CMS team emerged winner demonstrating its awareness towards the environment. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
