CMS students win three medals including a gold in Yoga Competition

Lucknow, June 4: Students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus won three medals including a Gold, Silver and a Bronze at the District Yogasan Sports competition, bringing glory to the institution. In the 9 to 14 years boys' category, Shiva Yadav and Azaan Khan of CMS Station Road Campus won the gold and bronze medals respectively while in the age-group of 14 -18 years for girls, Disha Sharma won the silver medal outshining all competition. The competition was organized under the aegis of the District Yoga san Sports Association, Lucknow. This information was given by the Public Relation Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further stated that the students of various prestigious schools participated in this yoga competition and in the midst of tough competition, CMS students emerged victorious and proved their skills and calibre by performing difficult yoga Asana with ease. Physical and mental strength and balance are needed in yoga and CMS students were full of energy and stamina earily outdoing the others wearing the gold and silver medals and caring the Runner-Up trophy as well. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated the winners and wished them all the best for the future.

            Shri Khanna further informed that CMS students are motivated to participate and prove their excellence in various fields of knowledge. They are constantly winning prizes at national and international level and earning laurels for the institution.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence.
