Yoga Camp begins at CMS Shalimar OneWorld


 

Lucknow June 18: A ten day Yoga Training Camp began here today at City Montessori School, Shalimar OneWorld Campus. The Camp is running from 5.30 a.m. to 7.00 a.m. in the morning daily from 18 to 28 June 2024 during which time an expert in Yoga from Patanjali will be training the people to perform Yoga Asanas and develop fitness of both body and mind. This information was given by the Public relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna.  Mr Khanna further informed that free transport will be provided to the participants of yoga.

            CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that Yoga not only keeps us mentally and physically fit, it also helps us in our spiritual progress. She said that all are welcome to attend the camp and derive benefit from it. She further said that the Yoga expert will be teaching various asanas or yogic postures which will be helpful in keeping away diseases like high blood pressure, asthma, cholesterol, diabetes etc. and maintain a perfect balance of body, mind and spirit. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi said yoga has brought India on the world map and is now widely recognized all over the world for its immense health benefits. As a result, the UN International Yoga Day is celebrated the world over on 21st June every year.

            Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Rishi Khanna said that on the first day of the Camp, over 25 people participated in it. They were trained in various yogic postures and breathing exercises or pranayam etc and given guidance on what to eat and what to avoid so that they can remain fit and healthy all their lives. Lifestyle changes were introduced to accelerate their progress. In this way CMS is taking the lead in helping people get over dreaded diseases and enjoying the pink of health and happiness in life.

CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises.   Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public.
