Yoga Meet at CMS on International Yoga Day; Prize winners felicitated


 

Lucknow, June 21 : Yoga Camps were organized at various campuses of City Montessori School on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga today. The main event was held in the huge premises at CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, wherein the prize winners of the Inter-school Yoga Meet organized by the campus were awarded and felicitated. Earlier, the Yoga Meet was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sushma Kharkwal. On this occasion, CMS Founder-Director Dr. Bharti Gandhi and CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, along with the Principal of Rajajipuram Campus, Mrs Nisha Pandey; Yoga Guru from Sant Asudaram Ashram, Mr Ashok Kewalani; and many eminent personalities, yoga lovers, and a large number of students and teachers performed yoga-pranayama collectively, spreading the message of 'Health through Yoga' to the entire world.

            In her address delivered on this occasion, Chief Guest Mrs Sushma Kharkwal said that the involvement of the young generation in yoga will bring constructive changes in society and our future generation will become physically and mentally strong, competent and virtuous. yoga has gained popularity all over the world. It may be mentioned that free yoga camps are being organized for all in the morning in various CMS campuses including the latest campus at Shalimar One World, in which a large number of people are participating with great enthusiasm. CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that the purpose of Yoga Meet is to teach everyone the importance of yoga and to make them concerned about their mental and physical health.Students from various schools of Lucknow showcased various yogasanas and yogic postures such as Virbhadrasana, Chakra Bandhasana, Vibhakta Paschimottanasana, Purna Supta Vajrasana, Padam Sarvangasana, Purna Bhujangasana, Padangushth Dhanurasana, Garudasana, Parsvakonasana, Bakasana, Purna Supta Vajrasana and many more, at the Inter-school Yoga Meet. Renowned yoga experts judged their performances. At the end, the Convenor of Yoga Meet and Senior Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, Mrs Nisha Pandey proposed the vote of thanks.

CMS teacher awarded Global Teacher Award

  Lucknow, January 7: Ms Nitasha Garg, a teacher of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II has brought laurels to the city by winning the 'Global Teacher Award' at the international level. This honour has been conferred upon her for her remarkable innovations in teaching methodology and her special efforts to develop a global outlook among the children. This information was given by Shri Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, CMS. Shri Sharma said that Ms. Natasha was presented this award for her outstanding success among teachers from 108 countries at a grand honouring ceremony held recently in New Delhi. The honouring ceremony was organized under the aegis of AKS Education Award. फेस पेंटिंग, समूह गान, चित्रकला, एवं कोरियोग्राफी प्रतियोगिताओं के साथ साँस्कृतिक महोत्सव सम्पन्न

लखनऊ , 20 दिसम्बर : सिटी मोन्टेसरी स्कूल , इन्दिरा नगर द्वितीय कैम्पस द्वारा आयोजित दो - दिवसीय अन्तर - विद्यालयी साँस्कृतिक महोत्सव ‘ फेस्टिविटा -2023’ के दूसरे व अन्तिम दिन आज प्रतिभागी छात्रों ने विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में अपने ज्ञान - विज्ञान , रचनात्मक सोच , हुनर व बुद्धिमत्ता का जोरदार प्रदर्शन कर दिखा दिया कि भावी पीढ़ी समाज के रचनात्मक उत्थान के प्रति अत्यन्त जागरूक है। फेस पेंटिंग , समूह गान , चित्रकला , समूह नृत्य एवं कोरियोग्राफी प्रतियोगिताओं में छात्रों की बहुमुखी प्रतिभा देखते ही बनती थी ‘ फेस्टिविटा -2023’ के सायंकालीन सत्र में विजयी प्रतिभागियों को पुरष्कृत कर सम्मानित किया गया। विदित हो कि इस दो दिवसीय साँस्कृतिक महोत्सव में लखनऊ के विभिन्न प्रतिष्ठित विद्यालयों के 400 से अधिक छात्रों ने प्रतिभाग किया।             ‘ फेस्टिविटा -2023’ की प्रतियोगिताओं की श्रृंखला में पैलेट परेड ( फेस पेन्टिंग ) प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभागी छात्रों की खासी रूचि रही , इसी प्रकार , क्
