CMS teachers excel in International Teaching Olympiad

Lucknow, July 23 : Two outstanding teachers of Cambridge Section of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II namely Ms Shan Ara Khan and Ms Shilpi Agarwal have shown outstanding professional ability in the International CENTA Teaching Professional Olympiad bringing Lucknow once again shine on the world map. Over 80,000 teachers from all over the world participated in this International Olympiad out of which Ms Shan Ara Khan secured the 4th International Rank in Senior Secondary English category while Ms Shilpi Agarwal secured 5th International rank in Computer Science, thus bringing glory to the school. This information was given by the CMS Public Relations officer, Mr Rishi Khanna. He added that CMS teachers have created a place for themselves among the top 100 teachers of the world by sheer dint of their teaching ability and professional strength. CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated both the teachers and wished for their success in coming years too.

            Mr Khanna informed that Teaching Professionals Olympiad (TPO) is organized every year under the aegis of Centre for Teacher Accreditation and its objective is to encourage and catalyze the development of teaching talents and skills of teachers. In this unique competition, teachers are selected on the basis of subject wise knowledge, experience and high academic standards. Thus, by recognizing the abilities of teachers and developing their talents through this Olympiad, a qualitative change can be brought about in their performance in teaching the students.

10 CMS students selected for National Institute of Fashion Technology

Lucknow, March 26 : Ten bright students of City Montessori School have been offered admission to the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024) thus bringing laurels to their school. The selected students are Saumya Choudhary, Sakshi Saxena, Roshani Moolchandani, Mansi Verma, Mansi Saxena, Kashish Agarwal, Diti Arora, Avishi Yadav, Areeba Ansari and Akriti Singh. The examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for which the results were recently declared. Multi-sided talents spill out at CMS Summer Camps

Lucknow, May 16 : Students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus shone with pride and happiness as their rainbow coloured talents spilled out at Summer Camps organized by the school. Games, sports, yoga and aerobics, art, painting, music, dance, painting, craft work, swimming, skating, public speaking, basketball, singing and taekwondo were practiced with great skill under experts and renowned exponents of the game.
