Hon’ble Governor Smt Anandiben Patel to inaugurate India IMC today at CMS

Lucknow, July 26 : The 5-day India International Mathematics Competition (InIMC 2024) will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Governor of UP, Smt Anandiben Patel on 27th July, at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium at 5.00 pm in the evening tomorrow. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna said that this huge gathering of young mathematicians will see the participation of around 1000 students from 30 countries of the world. Today, these budding mathematicians were accorded a hearty welcome by CMS students and teachers on their arrival in Lucknow. The participating students seemed extremely overjoyed with the welcome they received here. Apart from this, a grand reception was given to the mathematical genius Dr Simon L Chua from Philippines, Mr Wen Hein Sun from Taiwan and Mr Vladislav Marinov from Bulgaria, who have arrived here to guide the participants from India and abroad.

            Mr Khanna informed that the participating teams will vie for supremacy through competitive events like Puzzle Challenge, Individual Contests, and Team Contest etc. which will form a part of the InIMC-2024. Innovative questions have been added especially for the children. Participating countries at InIMC-2024 include Bolivia, Botswana, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Nepal, Peru, Philippines, Romania, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Uganda, Uzbekistan, United States of America, Vietnam and India. Mr Rishi Khanna stated that this competition will provide ample knowledge to the students regarding science and mathematics besides giving them an opportunity to compete and prove their talents on the international platform. New ways of calculation and mathematical analysis will be discussed after the competition. Participating students will also get to see Lucknow’s historical monuments and taste its cuisine and culture.

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’.
