CMS swimmers steal the limelight with 16 medals including 5 golds

Lucknow, 17 August : Swimming team of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus brought laurels to the institution by winning 16 medals, comprising 5 Golds, 6 Silvers and 5 Bronze Medals at the CISCE UP &UK Regional Swimming Competition. The competition was organized under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). This information was given by Mr Rishi Khanna, Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Khanna stated that in this competition, CMS Chowk Campus student Abhi Srivastava proved his expertise in swimming by winning 4 gold medals. On the other hand, Vyom demonstrated his versatile talent by securing 3 medals, including 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal. Similarly, Ata Abbas won 2 silver medals, Saniya Masood earned 2 silver and 1 bronze medal, Siddharth Rawat secured 1 silver medal, while Pavani, Vaishnavi Pal, and Janvi Khanna each won a bronze medal. In this competition, selected students from various schools participated, but despite the tough competition, these talented CMS students won a total of 16 medals, proudly showcasing their swimming talent. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, wished a bright future for these upcoming young swimmers.

               Mr Khanna further informed that CMS students are creating new milestones in the field of games and sports besides academics at national and international level. The school trains its students in various games and sports through rigorous practice by expert coaches at all CMS campuses.

Outstanding performance of Akriti Singh of CMS in NEET 2024

Lucknow, June 5: Students of City Montessori School have yet again recorded huge success in the NEET Exams 2024 with as many as 96 of them securing place above the cut off percentage on the national merit list and becoming eligible for admission to top Medical Colleges of India. Among these, Akriti Singh of CMS Kanpur Road Campus scored 701 marks out of a total of 720 marks and secured All India Rank 1597 bringing laurels to the school. 18 CMS students secured 99 percentile and above marks in the aforesaid exam creating history yet again.
