Earlier, the participating scholars and religious leaders met the media persons in a press conference held in the afternoon and shared their insights on the objectives of the Interfaith Conference. The scholars noted that disputes and conflicts over religious differences often dominate headlines. Yet today, as representatives of various faiths unite for religious harmony and dialogue, this gathering deserves equal prominence in the media.

Respect for all religions is deeply ingrained in the ideology of CMS. I am sure that this conference will inspire students and the younger generation to work for social development in an environment of unity and peace and teach them to respect all religions. Convenor of the International Interfaith Conference and Principal of CMS Asharfabad Campus, Mrs Trapti Dwivedi expressed her confidence that the Conference will be successful in creating a climate of religious unity, understanding, and brotherhood.
