This CMS initiative to unite all the world's religions on a common platform for discussion is truly unique.  Such events serve as powerful platforms for promoting mutual trust among religious communities. The International Interfaith Conference is being held from August 2 to 4 at the CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, featuring esteemed religious scholars and visionaries from Egypt, the USA, Lebanon and various states of India. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna.

Earlier, the participating scholars and religious leaders met the media persons in a press conference held in the afternoon and shared their insights on the objectives of the Interfaith Conference. They emphasized that religion should not be a source of conflict but rather a topic for dialogue, highlighting the urgent need to educate children about this truth. The scholars noted that disputes and conflicts over religious differences often dominate headlines. Yet today, as representatives of various faiths unite for religious harmony and dialogue, this gathering deserves equal prominence in the media.

At the inaugural ceremony, welcoming the Chief Guest and other eminent personalities from various countries, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that education remains incomplete without religion because it teaches us values for life and leads to our spiritual progress. Respect for all religions is deeply ingrained in the ideology of CMS. I am sure that this conference will inspire students and the younger generation to work for social development in an environment of unity and peace and teach them to respect all religions. Convenor of the International Interfaith Conference and Principal of CMS Asharfabad Campus, Mrs Trapti Dwivedi expressed her confidence that the Conference will be successful in creating a climate of religious unity, understanding, and brotherhood.
